Down to the woods

I'm so excited! I have just spent the last 3 days at Kids in Style in Sydney. Kids in Style is a trade fair event held twice a year and I go there to find new things for the shop. It is more of a boutique fair because everything you see is just beautiful. I'm excited because I have found some amazing new pieces for the shop, the toadstool lights are just divine and part of a series of vintage style lamps that include a bunny, squirrel, duck, seal and lighthouse to name a few. I have new wall art coming and lots of unique little bits and pieces also coming in. The Miss Haidee vintage dresses for next summer are to die for! It's just to long to wait!

Frankie

I'm off to grab a copy of my favourite magazine Frankie. I love this mag, it is full of lots of beautiful vintage loveliness. I find lots of ideas and inspiration for my wardrobe, home and even the shop. Check it out at http://www.frankie.com.au/ or just go buy a copy.

My beautiful lamp

I just had to post this picture of my new lamp, I'm in love with it. Chloe, Mum and I went out for some shopping recently and we came across David Bromley's store 'A day on earth' in Chapel street. I knew he had a store in Daylesford but I didn't realise he also had a store in Melbourne. When I walked into the store this lamp jumped out at me a mile away, I turned to my Mum and said, 'I have to have it'. She knew I wanted to buy something special in memory of my Dad, I had just been waiting for the right piece to come along. We both agreed it was it! The guy running the shop could see how excited I was and said to me would I like to see some more, he then took us all up to the next floor and I was just blown away, it was David Bromleys studio and entire art collection. It was magical! An amazing experience that not many people would ever get to see, how lucky am I.
